Do you have a funny story to share with us about your pet? We’d love to hear it. Please use the comments to tell us your funny pet story.
Would you like to submit a photo with your story?
The only way that we are currently accepting photos is via Flickr. If you don’t have a Flickr account, it’s easy to set up an account – and it’s free! Once you have a Flickr account, please upload your photo to Flickr, then include the URL of that photo with your story in the comments section of this post.
All photos should be saved in JPEG format. The width of all photos should be 500 pixels wide. The length of the photo can be any length up to 500 px high.) Anything smaller or sent in any other format will not be posted to our blog. Any photos that are too large are subject to the mood of the blog administrator and may or may not be posted. Please try to properly size your submissions. Please include your name, a link to your website (if you have one), the title of your photo and all relevant caption information. Do not submit photos that you did not take. This should be obvious, but it’s so easy to submit images that belong to others on the web.

“What’s In A Name”….I inherited my first dog… a black Lab mix from a neighbor in Atlanta GAwho had been transferred to London. The dog’s name “Henry Kissenger”..a friendly dog so named because he roamed the small in-town neighborhood Later I adopted two other black Lab puppies and continued the political theme by naming them George Bush Sr. and Harry Truman. Ironically as they grew it seemed to me that their names were reflected in their personalities. They were outdoor dogs but in the evening I would bring them inside. Automatically Harry Truman would cozyup to me on the couch….(and at bedtime lay on the foot of my bed keeping my feet warm on cold mountain nights). Across the living room,George Bush Sr. would position himself on a chair on the opposite side of the room wanting to join Harry and me on the couch but was too proper and polite to make the move to join Harry and me on the couch. So, maybe it is true our names form our personalities! My first name is Mary…???
